Campground surrounded by Affluence

This was an interesting campground to access. You have to know where you want to end up as the drive in through fancy subdivisions is not what a typical camper necessarily expects to have to do. But once you get past the expensive houses on huge lots and go down the hill to the campground you discover a really nice campground on a beautiful lake. This is really a lake camper more than anything else, but there are plenty of activities to keep everyone in the family happy. There is a nice beach, huge playground, lots of open spaces for family games, a beach volleyball area and horseshoe pits. There is even a frisbee golf course as well as a nice amphitheater. All of the campsites are on the lake with all sites having electric and water, and if you are lucky you can score a site with a covered picnic table (there were only a few sites that had this nice luxury). This is an RV/camper type campground, I didn’t see any other tents besides mine. There was a short nature trail, but again, this is a campground geared to lake living. The bathhouse was one of the cleanest, most modern I’ve ever seen in a campground.
