August trip to Great Smokies

Campsite has easy access from Bryson City and is a short hike from several beautiful waterfalls! I stayed for two nights on a long weekend trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. I selected Deep Creek Campground over other campgrounds in the national park so I would have cell service and internet access.

Restrooms have flush toilets, kept clean and well-lit. Several places to access drinking water, but no showers are available.

I didn’t play in the creek, but it’s a popular spot for tubing. There’s also a large picnic area for day users.
