This campground has a couple distinctively different campground loops. The river sites in the front are pretty open with cool views of the freighters going by on the river.

We stayed in the back on the wagon wheel, which is in the woods. Some sites have more vegetation than others but it’s pretty woodsy.

Mosquitos were pretty bad. We’ve had a lot of rain and heat early this summer.

Camp hosts were helping direct traffic at the dump station Sunday morning which helped make that run smoothly.

There’s a decent amount of trails on the property and also a bike trail that leads into algonac I believe.

They also have a shooting & archery range on the property which was pretty cool.
