The Staff is the Hidden Gem

This campground became an unplanned stop for us following an accident on I-75 where we were hit and our fifth wheel incapacitated for about five hours. We called and they happily put us in a spot for the night if we could make it / be towed there - and didn’t bother with the financials till later since we weren’t sure we could. The staff work super hard and the park is well kept. It’s a quiet setting which has been a fantastic for us with so many insurance issues and tasks to recover our losses on our totaled rig. We had friends come and camp by us for several days just to offer support and they noticed the manager Bob works way harder than any one person should.

The only reason it wasn’t five stars is the pool is not open - a fence is down from the highway department doing some road work and the big yellow sign is also down. This made it very difficult for us to find the entrance in our damaged RV in the rain.
