Beautiful and remote, yet accessible

This campsite was gorgeous. We stayed at camp 2 which is at the top of a very steep hill but close to water and very private. We also liked camp 4 because the clearing was nice with several stumps to sit on. Wouldn’t recommend camp 3 or 5 because they were visible to the main trail. We camped in the middle of July but it was still relatively cool because of the thick tree coverage. This was our first time primitive camping and it was definitely a great beginner primitive spot. From the parking lot to site 2, the fit bit measured the distance at 1.25 miles. Only downside is there is a rule against campfires, but from the looks of it that has been overlooked at some sites. Keep in mind that dryer months will reduce access to water in the stream but we had plenty near site 2.
