Refreshing creekside sites

My campsite was on the river, which was nice, but people did come through my campsite at times b/c it was easier to get out there. The site was all gravel and shaded. The people running the camp store were lovely. I had my dog and the campground is very dog-friendly. Recommend this campground to everyone; just didn’t like the people walking thought my site at times, which is why only 4 stars. Also, the showers in the bathhouse only had hooks- no benches- and the toilets were raised for some reason. They do have a ADA bathhouse but I didn’t check it out.

  • looking at the river from my site
  • big site
  • this swimming area is part of the park but not within walking distance of the campground- it can get crowded
  • Alum Cave Trail- part of the park
