Large RV Park with incredible beach

Pros: The beach here is heaven, it doesn’t get any better in a campground. There is a great store and cafe perfect for burgers and whatever you forgot to bring.

Cons: This campground has been taken over by row after row of enormous RVs. Most about 45’ plus with slides and generators that run a good part of the time. In addition to this many have multiple kids with motorized scooters, motorized skateboards etc. When we were there a tribe of 20 kids rode non-stop from 7AM to 8PM around all the campsites. One large RV pulled in at 12AM and proceeded an hour and a half set up while everyone was asleep, letting his kids yell back and forth, dumping firewood in the bed of his pick up and throwing things around.

There seems to be a lot of complaining about the wind, even from people in large RVs . Do not go if weather and wind bother you.

This is not the place for tranquil camping and nature enjoyment. This is the place to go when your kids need to let off steam and you need to be as far away from them as possible, enjoying your RV sofa and RV big screen.

SB County needs to up the site cost for RVs
