Hard to find but enjoyable once you do

There are 3 separate camps here. We stayed in the quiet one- site 2. It is the only one without electric. Our campsite was right on the water. Our neighbor, another Dyrt camper!, launched his boat right from his site. We explored the trail behind site 14 and walked along the waterfall. The bridge takes you to another camp section. We walked down the road to see a restaurant with lodging. Plenty of other cottages along the water too.

The town of Mercer is 15 minutes away and that was our only Verizon cell signal - but a strong one. The showers are in a different camp and take quarters. There isn’t a sign to let you know where this campground is. We drove down the road and had to turn around. Otherwise this was a peaceful place to camp.

  • The quiet loop is small but it was mostly empty
  • View from our picnic table
  • Walking along the water
  • Sites across the water are also part of the campground
  • Peer through the reflection to see the 3 separate loops
  • Previous campers left the fire smoldering. Don’t forget to put it out before you leave
