Expanded the Campground

The campground now has 27 sites (as of 2021). Most are first-come, first-serve and a few are reservable on recrecation.gov.  The fee for all National parks has gone up in 2021 and this campsite is now $17/night, $8/night with the Senior Pass, and $8/night for an extra vehicle.  All Food MUST be stored in a hard-sided camper or the provided Bear Boxes, there are both Grizzly and Black Bears in the area!  It is close to numerous trailheads for hiking, biking, etc.  Wonderful area and campground!

  • The trailhead located at the base entrance to the campground
  • Bear box where you MUST store your food--both Grizzly and Black Bears are in the area
  • The new section is off to the left and the old section of the campground is off to the right
  • Nice large spaces (not all but several) for my truck and 35 ft 5th wheel!
  • Trail Creek runs along the front of the property and there is a trail that goes from Mike Harris Campground over to the Trail Creek Campground about 2 miles away!
  • Google map view of the campground--Loop A is the new area. They have pit toilets throughout the campground and water spickets, no. electric or sewer
