North Fork (NF - on river) is 1 of the 2 campgrounds located within Buffelo Bill State State Park. The other one is Lakeshore (LS - on the lake) We were in site NF 77. Quick review:

• Immaculately manicured. Every twig was gathered and left in the firepit for use.
• Free campwood (donations accepted)
• We loved that all of the sites were pull through and level.

*There are no bad sites. They all have amazing views.

• There is a huge lending library onsite.

NF is on the river. A huge herd of deer was grazing in the field when we arrived. After setting up, we strolled around the campground. There are pit toilets in each loop. The tent area has one designed for that area. At the entrance was the shower house. There are 4 seperate rooms, each with a flush toilet, sink and paid shower. I have included a photo with the cost. They are clean, spacious and typical for a state park. I do like that there is a plug so I can bring a little heater for those cold mornings. It is so quiet here. No road noise. It is mid May and the water is still turned off due to freezing temps at night. It even snowed last night. They did leave 1 spicket turned own at the host site in order to fill tanks. The dump station was open for dumping only. No water there yet. The staff was super nice. I now wish we were staying more than 4 nights.
