Bandon By The Sea RV Park

A nice park to stop in for the night. There are permanent residences and a laundry, bathrooms and shower. Because of COVID none of visiting RV had access to showers/ laundry. I like the park because the quality of hookups including sewer and 80% pull throughs. But it didn’t feel like a camping experience to me.

High Desert Camping

Visited Collier in August.  Temperature was nice.  A little dry and dusty this time of year.  Great rivers close by, nice hiking trails.  Restrooms open and clean.  Quiet during weekdays.

Bullards Beach State Park

First time camping here. Plenty of hosts around to help….Because I’m new at this camping thing I had to have help backing in. Felt that camps were a little crowded but I guess it depended on the spot. Not much privacy. Restrooms were open and clean…no showers open. What makes this park so nice I think is that once out of the campsite area, the day park is beautiful. Plenty of space to keep to yourself. Beach was a mile away…a person could either walk on paved paths or drive. Because this is on the coast it was windy and cool. I chose mornings for beach walking. The day site is along the Coquile River. There is a National Wildlife Reserve around parts of river so plenty of things to see.

Honeyman State Park, Oregon

I recently spent two days at Honeyman State Park near Florence, Oregon. The first site I had I could not back into. I’m new at this so that was a factor. I talked to a ranger who found another spot for me. I really appreciated the help I received. Because it was on the coast, it was cool and windy. Park was clean, there were loops closed because of the virus but restrooms were open and clean. I’m not sure I would stay at this state park again mainly because of the surroundings….mostly dunes; but at least I got to visit.

Joseph Stewart State Park

Second time od staying here…this time in summer which is busier.  Stayed 6 days during Fathers Day weekend.  Although full, it was still pleasant.  A lot of people were on the lake or day use picnic area so daytimes were pretty quiet.  Nice spacing between.  I love it.

Easy to get into, close to the beach.  The restrooms and showers were clean but sorry to say for the price that I was disappointed with how run down things were…garbage area filthy, electrical box in disrepair.  Quiet but don’t think I’ll return.

Seven Feathers

Ice nice campground.  Guidance finding a spot.  Nice and clean.

Steward state park

My first time camping by myself.  I felt safe, hosts were very helpful.  I was up there in off season…it was quiet, clean.  Lots of nature to enjoy.
