This campground has well over 200 sites for hikers, bicyclists, backpackers, car campers etc!

RVs have a separate camping area for some sites in Mather can accommodate a small trailer without hookups.

It is not too expensive just expect it to be up to $20 or $22 a night. Multiple tents can fit in each site but parking is not always the best. Carpool when you can!

The South Rim general store is within easy walking distance depending on where your site isn,half a mile or less.

Grand Canyon's South Rim is also within a mile,there are some great bicycle/walking paths that are paved from the campground to the Visitor Center and Rim.

Very cold in the winter and very warm in the summer by the way!!
