Located right on Huntington Beach, this RV park is part of the south pier. Unfortunately, you can’t camp here all year since it’s only open from October-May. The park can get a little noisy at night, from traffic as well as nightlife surrounding the area. The basic amenities are provided, but nothing extra. You’ll get superb ocean views with easy access to downtown. Sunset Vista RV Park can accommodate up to 45’ rigs.

On the north fork of the San Gabriel River, Coldbrook Campground is a gorgeous oasis less than an hour outside of Los Angeles. It’s a small campground that fills up quickly. Spots are first-come, first-serve, and can fit up to a 22’ trailer. A short distance from the campground is several trailheads, including the popular Bridge to Nowhere and Smith Mountain summit. The campground amenities are rather minimal. You’ll need to bring your own water for the duration of your visit.
