Being home I have noticed that I have picked up several items that normally I wouldn’t have thought to add to my travels. I can’t be the only one who is binge buying items for their adventures…lol… What is the craziest thing you have bought while being home for your next travels??
My purchases have included a pop up shower tent, rechargeable shower pump, new flints for all of my hiking packs, a new fanny pack hiking bag big enough for my dslr and 2 bottles of water to attach, new tripods, new hiking sneakers, a drone… YEP… I need to get out traveling…lol…
We picked up a metal sign that has our names, the Texas state shape, and our anniversary year, so we can put the sign up wherever we are. Found it on Etsy. Haven’t really been binge buying anything, except septic-safe TP - since we’re full time RVers, everything we need is already with us. That said…we are looking at one of the CLAMshell pop up shelters we see in a lot of RV parks.
I made my major purchases at the end of the last camping season: a Litle Red Campfire and a Mr. Buddy heater. Can you tell it was cold??? What I really want, but am having a hard time justifying, is a Coleman Mountain View screen/dome shelter. I like that it has removable screens and sun walls so it could replace my separate dome shelter and a screen tent that doesn’t have removable walls.
There can always be a justified reasoning…lol… right there the removable screens add value which is justified enough for me… get it…lol… (I am not the person to talk someone out of a good time…lol)
