Overall what are your Top 3 favorite campgrounds in Arizona and why?
We liked our stay at Lost Dutchman State Park. Great and easy access to hikes in the Superstition Mountains. Sites were large and spaced a decent amount apart.
Living in AZ, this one is a little tough because the season really determines where we go.
Oak Creek area - This is a great area to visit and there are a few awesome Forest Service Campgrounds between Sedona and the 40.
Lake Pleasant Park, Maricopa County - The county side of Lake Pleasant has great sites for RVs as well as dry shoreline camping. Really has something for everyone. We find the summer a little unbearable though.
Fools Hollow Lake Campground - Impeccably maintained, this campground near Show Low, AZ is a great escape from the summer heat with good fishing and water recreation.

All great! We have been to every place but Oak Creek for camping.
