where should I camp on the oregon coast with my trailer? looking for pretty locations, don’t care too much about campground amenities?
Cape Lookout State Park has some great campsites and you’re right next to the beach. There’s a shellfish farm called Nevør outside the park where you can get fresh oysters by the dozen.
We have camped at at least 8 campgrounds on the Oregon coast. Many have full hookups some do not. It really depends on what type of campground your looking for. Some have many trees, some have very little, some spots have beach access others do not and so on. Our favorite spot to date is Nehalem Bay State Park where this campground has full hookups and a park like setting with beach access and many bike trails. It is also close to town and shopping stores.
