what are the absolute must see spots in Glacier National Park?
Do you like hiking? If so, Avalanche Lake hike (2.3 miles one-way; 500 feet elevation gain) will take you to a glacier lake. Highline Trail is a popular one but I don’t have firsthand knowledge to confirm any of its details.
Using the separate Many Glacier entrance of the park, we LOVED the Iceberg Lake hike (4.8 miles one-way, gains 1200 feet). It winds up to a hanging valley and, yup, there can be icebergs in the lake at the end of the hike.
Easy photo stops include Wild Goose Island and wildlife (mountain goats! moose!).
