I just googled south carolina national parks and learned about Congaree National Park. I’ve never heard of it before. Has anyone been? What’s it like?
I went there several years ago. The campground itself was just open space, and very hot. We took our kayaks and went down the river. That was really fun! I recommend the park if you want to kayak. Beware when you’re paddling “flatwater”. It does have currents and strainers, so you need to be careful.
