Depends on how close to Jackson you want to be and what you’re looking for in camping. LeFluers Bluff State Park is right at Lakeland Drive and I-55 and a pretty nice state park but noisy at night. Roosevelt State Park in Morton is a regular for lots of campers from the Jackson area. Check the MDWFP website for State Park Lakes and State Fishing lakes for lots of cost effective camping all over the state.
