Madison Campground — Yellowstone National Park

Close to everything and less busy

This is another large site in Yellowstone, it's busy but nothing like the Grant Village. I think you're actually much closer to all the "main" attractions and it's a great spot to head off to some wonderful hiking area.

You're just around the corner from grand prismatic and old faithful (but you really should do the geyser walking trails if you can as there are tons of geysers with little to no one else out there with you as they go off)

Facilities are nice and clean with running water and flush toilets.

Does have some excellent tree coverage to help separate out the sites and make you feel a little more secluded than you actually are.

Try and get a site not too close to the main road (although at night there really isn't much traffic)
