Gros Venture is the campground you stay at, when tenting, if everything else closer to the base of Teton is booked or if you care about Jackson Hole. It's perfectly functionable, nothing special, can't see the park or mountains unless you walk to the front of the campground. In other words, it works but not the most scenic or close to the hiking action.
