Absolutely fantastic and free

What a relief after a long day on the road with a motorcycle. Going thru Wyoming is partially boring but this campground (owned by the county) is so refreshing. Green and cool after a long days ride.

Nice campsites in the shades of the trees on the grass. Paved area for RVs. Good infrastructure (albeit a bit dated) well maintained. A small creek runs thru it.

Picnic tables and day use area. An area for group gatherings. A beach where even small children can play without risk.

Hiking, geology, good stopover

This is an easy hop down from interstate 25 on your trip across Wyoming with a lot of character. The natural bridge is lovely and there are bison. Our campsite was right next to the creek where you can splash and swim. They had some other entertainment options (volleyball, etc.) too. If you’re fishing you could spend a while here. Very clean. FREE but please leave a donation, this is the nicest county-owned park we’ve been to.

Great History

Natural Bridge is a must see if near Casper, WY! Has great history over indian folklore and was a safe haven for settlers moving west. There's a great side trail that leads to the top that I highly recommend (where the phone was taken) . Easy to get too, and great camping/ pick nicking.
