Nice campground close to Marina

Nice modern campground, close to Marina and boat ramp area. However..NO WATER as is 6-2021. Vault toilets available and dumpsters. Hosts on site. 8 of the 23 sites are FF, rest are on reservation system.

Gnats and cow poop

Amazing, gorgeous spot...however you cannot be outside without swarms of gnats and mosquitoes overtaking you. And the cows. Poop all along the shore. Gross.

Dispersed

Awesome views. Dispersed camping on the lake. Drive down a gravel road and then hit a awesome lake view. It was during Memorial Day weekend and still found a spot.

RV Trailer sites x Walmart

Was surprised how packed in the RV trailer sites are, they have to back into a spot on pavement between parking lines, right next to each other, the tables and grass areas are behind each parking spot. Tent sites are better since they can walk in and space out a bit. I would never camp here with…

Lonely

Flaming George. Easy to find. We arrived on a Friday after and we thought site was closed. We were only campers in a 58 unit camp. Camp had two separate units with bathhouse and flush toilets trash containers. Each site had picnic table with cover fire pit and grill. With senior pass we paid $7 w/o…

Quiet in the offseason and super clean.

We came to this campground on a holiday weekend expecting it to be busy and packed since it was the first day opened. What we found was a completely empty campground, a beautiful beach, and lots of wildlife.

The campsites themselves were beautiful, and the ones on the East side of the…

Hit or Miss on spaces available and loud crowds

We have camped here multiple times. Read the whole review. The pictures attached are from our first trip. The second trip was packed with people so we didn't want to take pictures with them in them.

The first time we were here we were one of 3 campers and the trees were amazing shade. This…

Quiet but unshaded

This is a small campground that is best if you are in an RV for shade. This section of the river is exposed to the elements so it can get pretty windy and hot. The water access is limited to the boat ramp or wandering through the brush to get to the edge.

The first few spots of the campground…

  • Our campsite was right next to the bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained.
  • Big rigs can park here too. Best for RVers.

Vernal, UT

Lots of activities for families (pool, play area), small dog area, clean restrooms, staff was very friendly. We had some vehicle troubles and the guy lent us a few tools we didn’t have and checked on us to see how it was going. Lots of things to do in the area and is close to Dinosaur NM. Also has…

Peaceful beauty.

We were on the Wyoming side not too far the Buckboard Marina . About a 15 min. drive. We have a 30 ft class A RV and we tow a jeep. We parked at the marina and took the jeep to scout out a site. The " roads" are just dirt, some in better shape than others. So it was easier to be able to pick…

Beautiful site, SUPER buggy

Title says it all. Gorgeous location along creek surrounded by awesome cliffs. But we had to leave because we literally couldn’t escape the mosquitos.
