Good enough for a stop over

Pros: pretty creek, decent pool, and nice store.

Cons: lots of dead grass and weeds, trash in the fire pit, a full on junk yard on full display, and junk laying around.

Good enough for a stop over, but plenty of other places to try for multiple nights stay.

Easy to get to and basic

We just needed a place to stop for the night. This had a pit toilet which wasn’t bad. My husband fished the creeks and we saw a ton of fish. FS said it was closed but there was no gate and others campers so we gave it a shot. Glad we did. The little lake across the street was awesome to catch and…

This place is awesome

My boyfriend & I were the only 2 people probably in at least a mile radius. Complete privacy in a giant field of flowers that make the air smell absolutely amazing. There are sheep everywhere and they love to talk (my boyfriend was a little annoyed when they woke him up in the morning but I…

Easy and basic, but all good

Stayed for a night on way from CO to Jackson area. Not much to it, but easy in and out. Hooks up all fine. Nice owner helped us with a propane tank issue. Decent far-off views of Tetons and Snake River, but definitely not a reason to stay here just for that. Would have given it 3stars for being…

Beautiful, Primitive, Remote

Very remote location with a primitive, yet beautiful campsite. The only services are a couple of bathrooms, which were nice and clean, otherwise you are on your own. There were not marked campsites that we noticed, only some had a fire ring and/or picnic tables. It was right next to the green…

Loved this KOA!

We got the last site which was for a RV but was given to us for our tent camping. It had both water and electric hook ups on site, and plenty of space for our tent. I gave this KOA 5 Stars all due to the site #26! We were directly next to a river stream which we were able to take our camp chairs…

Incredible Views and TOTAL Privacy

As I was driving over Salt River Pass I noticed a small dirt road on the side of the highway. Upon checking Google Maps Satellite View, I could see that the road ended in a campsite, so I decided to scout it. The road is HEAVILY rutted, and would be impassible for a regular car, but it was easy to…

Plenty of sites along the riverbank

Excellent fishing in the Upper Green River! Campsites are spread out so you aren't on top of other campers. Quite a few campsites and not as busy or crowded as Weeping Rock up river. There is a boat launch area. Pit toilet facilities are cleaner than others. Great place! Don't forget bug spray,…
