Overview
This is a large, RV-friendly campground. The sound of the North Fork of the Little Laramie River can be heard throughout most of the campground. The facility is popular for RV camping, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking.
Recreation
Mountain bikers and hikers have the ease of accessing the scenic, well-known North Fork Trail #390 from the campground. Visitors who would like a more leisurely experience can drive the scenic Highway 130 or take in the view at the North Fork Overlook nearby. Anglers can fish for trout in the clear mountain waters of the North Fork of the Little Laramie.
Facilities
A total of 60 campsites are divided into two sections. Some sites lie along the river banks. Picnic tables, vault toilets, and trash collection are provided. No electrical hook-ups, water hook-ups, or black water hook-ups are available. Handpump water may be available in this campground from July to September. These dates may vary due to weather, well and/or pump maintenance, and water testing requirements. As such, we encourage you to bring your own water or call ahead.
Natural Features
Located at an elevation of 8,600 feet, the campground sits in a thick forest of lodgepole pine and spruce. The sound of the Little Laramie River can be heard from most campsites. The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland encompass nearly 3 million acres from central and northeastern Wyoming to north-central Colorado. Black bear, bobcat, coyote, elk, mule deer and moose are just some of the many animals that inhabit these rich and diverse lands.

Very nice
Very nice campground. As best I could tell, about 70 spots, but don’t quote me on that. All of the sites are very clean with picnic tables and fire pits. They do have pit toilets as well. Cost is $10 per night. The Laramie river runs right next to the campground and is nice to listen too.

Fields, dirt roads, and mountain
Camping sites a good distance from each other. Sites clean and firewood all around. Creek to dip your feet in and trails to hike on.
Babbling Brook
Pretty open sites; but the sites along the creek are nice and views of the mountains. Mosquitoes not as bad here as in Libby Creek area.
