Labor Day long weekend

Great place - except for the neighboring land owners dog.

Worst experience ever.

We arrived at lovely site 9 it is incredible and surrounded by water and trees. Unfortunately no one is monitoring the rules and regulations of the camp sites. There is no one checking people in and out or making sure that people are being respectful. The sites are so close together, and the folks next to us have been having 20+ people for a loud boisterous day party that has gone until 4:00 AM it’s honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had camping. If you’re looking for a relaxing time- THIS AINT IT

Great Lakeside Campground

We stayed here last summer on our way out west. East Twin Lake Campground is in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Near the town of Clam Lake. The camp is about 1 hour south of Ashland Wisconsin on Lake Superior. The campground has 2 small loops with about 5 or 6 camps on each loop. The campsites have nice views of the East Twin Lake. They sites have picnic tables, fire rings, and some privacy. I really like this campground and enjoyed the views of the lake in the morning. They have self checkin and the sites are well maintained.
