Wooded and well kept- clean and serene right on Lake Michigan

We had our popup for our first camping trip here.  The site was very wooded which made it secluded enough from our neighbors. Vault toilets and flush bathrooms were very clean and right down from our site.

It has rained considerably the day before we arrived which made some of the hiking trails very muddy- we saw park staff making multiple trips to put sand down to make the trails dry.

Concessions were open with fresh ice cream from the neighboring , wood, and ice- as well as full meals if you like that.

Smooth rock beach, water clear and calm as can be and a short walk fromThe site.  Will definitely be back!
