Lots of friendly people, its 2 miles long from the gate with trials through out the campground. Lots of the people that come every yr have golf carts. They do have park models for rent or 5th wheels, they have a washer and dryer, plus propane fill ups, ice machine, lots of firewood, lots of hiking…
Ive been going there for over 30 years. The owners are very friendly. People are always asking if you'd like to join them around their campfire. Fishing is amazing. Clean bathrooms. Just a great wholesome family place to go!
We recently stayed here and I have mixed feelings. From start to finish it seems as if high school kids are the only people working there. With that being said they did pretty well. We stayed at one of the beach cabins and I would 0/10 recommend. There is no parking near these cabins (not close…
This is a lovely little campground with just 30 sites, though it feels like half that because it is so quiet. Thirty amp power is reliable though the potable water spigot is way too close to the dump station for comfort. The waterfront is pretty, though weedy as this is the west side of the lake.
We spent the first weekend of June 2021 in the group sites (M) at The Whitewater Lake and Hickory Group Sites. It was a very hot weekend for June so by the time Saturday morning came around everyone just wanted to go to Whitewater Lake. We got lucky, the parking was free on June 5&6.

Pike Lake is a local favorite, with decent hiking trails and beach. Heed warnings of swimmers itch and know that the dog beach is very small, with no beach at all (just a place rest for your dog to go take a swim.)
As for the campground, it’s small and has relatively little privacy so you’ll make…

Hickory Oaks was amazing! Cindy called to check on us because we were arriving late. They even delivered wood to our campsite so we could have a fire. We saw so much wildlife! Chipmunks, ducks, a great horned owl, and countless birds to name a few. Our campsite was shaded all throughout the day,…

We have been seasonal campers here for over 30 years. don't come here if you want reliable water service. Our water keeps being shut off. There are many excuses as to why, but no resolution. Vanessa, the manager is very unpleasant and rude. She doesn't know how to deal diplomatically with people. I…
The family enjoyed a long holiday weekend in Loop 1 of the Pinewood camp ground. The sites were very nice with some decent foliage between sites. The space was generous so we didn’t feel crowded. The camp store was handy for ice and firewood. Our hike to the scenic overlook was pleasant - bring…

Campground was clean and owners were very friendly. Great location! Only 6 minutes from Devil's Lake. Also has a great brewery and winery down the road.
We were the only tent campers in the whole campground. These sites are good for both. We were on 444 and the site is nice and big only issue was rocks under the dirt, so it was hard to find spots for our stakes. The grounds are pretty. We had rain all of our first day, and our site didn't flood…
We stayed here only one night on our road trip. But wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful park , nice campsites. Bathrooms were clean. Lots of hiking trails
It's up on top of Blackhawk mountain and they have full service, fireworks at nite all summer and parties go on alot. Lot of seasonal regulars that drive around in golf carts! Everyone is a friend. Adults only gated community clothing optional! 5 🌟
Pretty basic campground, great location, small pond for fishing.
Campground has very friendly owners. Big barn to hangout in with games and movie screen. Gaga ball pit, cross net, fishing pod, hiking, and clean bathrooms. Right next to Devils Lake and close to Baraboo events
