Kind of off the beaten path. You have to take the Willow River exit and go through the town a little bit. There's a small sign next to the Squirrel Cage restaurant and bar. You'll be next to the freeway and you'll hear the noise but it's not that bad. Usually hardly anyone is here. They have picnic…
Well maintained and clean site. Owners were friendly.
Spacious, beautiful overlook of Lake superior. The wind off the lake is chilly so bring layers. Firewood is $7, Firestarter are $5. Ppl very friendly and after 10 pm it is quiet. 10/10 would come again
We chose this campground out of the three in the state park here for it's quiet and privacy. Site 210 (non electric) in Old Logging Trail was quite private and shaded, although we were not able to get our squaredrop camper or truck very far off the road due to placement of the gravel pad. Tenters…

Burlington Bay Campground was clean. The shower house by the playground was clean and new. The playground seemed fairly new and the kids loved playing on it. Walking on the beach lead to a nice City trail. The kids loved climbing all over the rock formations and finding new rocks.
Pulled over here for a quick stay. It is close to the freeway is about it. Not really what I would be looking for, for an extended stay. It was fine for an easy come and go. Facilities were clean.
Wanoka is a quiet campground just off the Hwy 2. It has a nice little trout pond and is a good place to teach the younger kids fishing skills. It is however not ideal for young ones who like to play as there is no playground.
I spent the weekend at This camp ground and loved every moment. It was early April so quiet with only a only a couple others staying here. Hiking and Bike trails right there. Drove around the park and so much to see and experience! Highly recommend!!
This is my favorite campground for a getaway of a few days. It's less than an hour from home, with great treed sites, a river with tumbling waterfalls, and a covered bridge.
The sites are all non-electric. We plan to conserve the electricity so we can stretch the batteries with out using the…
We stayed during a busy summer season and it was beautiful. We hiked a number of trails to get to water falls that cooled us. Access was good but traffic and parking was busy depending on destination.
Any time on the North Shore is a great time! A lot to do and see. Clean restrooms and showers. The sites are a little close and not much privacy, but the view is awesome.

This was my first solo tent camping night in June 5, 2020. There were some horse flies when I parked but they didn't seem to hang out in the shade of my campsite. There was a very loud bird making calls until about 1am... Maybe a whip-poor-will. Otherwise a serene spot tucked back in the walk in…
Our stay was okay. Office and store was clean and well cared for. Check in was smooth and we were shown to our sites. We were spending the weekend with friends and the campground was very accommodating.
Campground was very dark in the area of campsites which made setting up a bit difficult. Our…
The area is beautiful with a lot to see and do. The camp is clean and for very full this time of year with many campers enjoying the color change on the north shore. Would like a little more forest around me but for a convenient spot I would stay here again in the future. Very clean. As far as…

The site we had was isolated nicely and the ground was easy for a tent set up. There was some mosquitos, but the disappeared at night which was nice. The trail near by was nice, but driving into the park and finding a trail were better. The fire tower was also cool!
