The views make the review
This campground is part of a casino, but the views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Island are amazing. There is a marina and a small beach. Wifi is very strong. The sites are tight but good for a quick stop. We came into town with no reservation for one night, after 5 other stops we were able to stay here.

Nice and close to Bayfield
Nice grounds. It got kinda noisy in the evening with golf carts zooming around. But it was quiet after 1030. Our campsite has a no e view of Lake Superior!
Waterfront sites on Lake Superior
We had a nice site #39 in the Buffalo Bay campground with water and electric and a view of the lake. #7 was across from us on the water no one was in it till the end of the week so we had an open view of the lake. We walked the marina and sat at an empty picnic table on the shoreline. Sites 7 and 8 have a fire pit and table right on the shoreline it’s beautiful. You can walk to the casino/ hotel the showers and bathrooms are in one side of the hotel big showers.
We were cooking dinner watching sunset and a super blood moon was rising. It was amazing. I didn’t have my good camera out and set up so I didn’t get any great pictures. We weren’t aware of it.
Close by is a cute town called Bayfield and has shopping, lots to eat and boat rides to the Apostle islands and Madeline island We went to the Apostle islands. Ice caves, a lighthouse and saw some eagles. The water is so beautiful there.
The waterfront sites were all reserved there was an airstream convoy going on they were going around Lake Superior.
