Unbelievably terrible
Worst campground ever!!!!!! The owner is super crazy!!!!!! Committed to being a campground host for her after passing on other host jobs and when those where filled the owner kicked us out!!!!! She has terrible customer service, false advertising and is extremely rude to customers. We have stayed and worked at many never have experienced this level of lack of communication, rudeness and many other things. Even though the view is beautiful and on the river I would suggest to never stay here because the rest will ruin your experience!!!!!
Camping on the New River
I stayed here for one night in very early August. I had a site right on the banks of the New River. The staff was very helpful and went out of the way to assist this senior citizen.
Even though COVID restrictions were relaxed everywhere, the campground only opened the bathrooms and showers to campers who did not have a bathroom in their rig. I told them I did not have these capabilities in my rig and they gave me sole access to the handicapped shower. I thanked them and told them that if a handicapped person arrived I would give up the shower.
A disadvantage is that the big rigs are very close together and the highway is directly behind the back row of campsites. After dark the traffic dropped off and for me, the highway noise was not noticeable.

Beautiful!
Was just passing through and decided to camp here because it was so pretty. You get your own bath house assigned to you. Very nice lady running the show.
