Camping spot was nice and shaded (July 2020)
My friends and I camped in the small campground with a pop-up and a camper; the spots were shaded and we saw deer. The bathrooms did not have soap or toilet paper and were pretty disgusting- mold and mildew and pretty small for the amount of people within the campground; and there was poop/mud(?) on sinks and toilets- pretty gross. The lake was nice, clean and refreshing- take chairs and wear shoes- geese poop everywhere. We did not do the waterpark- it was closed for most of our stay; also seems a little pricey for what it is. Overall, it's an okay campground. Stayed in July 2020.
Party city
Don't expect to get much sleep. No respect from locals blowing thru campgrounds all night with loud karts and music and screaming. Water park was great for the kids and lake was clean. Geese give obvious problems here. Awesome bike trails and nice lots available for lay overs.
Great place for quiet and fun. Place you can find community and solitude.
Privately owned. Golf carts for rent. Fabulous mtb trail network - worth paying for a pass to ride. Beautiful tent camping...mossy but not too buggy. Bring your own toilet paper.
