Along the Cascade River, Easy Access to Cascade Pass

Just 7 miles from the Cascade Pass parking lot, this National Forest campground along the Cascade River has 12 or so campsites, clean and well stocked pit toilets (though a bit stinky when we were there). Good tent pads, nice sites with firepits/grates, trash, but no potable water. Bring a water purifying device to pull water from the river. We thought this campground was great, but overpriced at $12 per site due to no running water. Sites along the river are reservable via HooDoo Reservations. Note: There is a Mineral Park Campground East as well, just up the road and across the bridge.
