Leave early on Friday and get a spot at the Hamma Hamma Campground! You can take a day hike to Lena Lake, or just explore the river from your campsite. It's such a great campground, we try to go several times each year. On a warm summer day there are some great swimming holes that are actually warm enough to enjoy! The sites are mostly private, and large! The bathrooms are pit toilets so they can get rough during the busy summer months, and there is no drinking water available, so be sure to bring your own water. But even with the stinky pit toilets, this campground is a real gem!
