This is a beautiful place!!  Quiet and serene.  We were so excited to stay here and let our kids play in the lake on a hot August day.  We did just that until I started noticing all the trash at the lake shore.  I decided to leave things better than I found them so I grabbed a bag and decided to do a little clean up.  Within 2 minutes and 10' of beach I found more beer bottle caps, cigarette butts, and fishing line and HOOKS than I could count.  The bag was filled and I had travelled 10 feet down the shore.  Sadly I witnessed 2 different groups dropping trash on the ground and leaving it.  Trash cans were not full and located 50 feet away.  I hope that the Ranger district is able to turn things around here before this small lake is permanently ruined.
