Winter operations are in effect at Lake Roosevelt's campgrounds. Fort Spokane campground remains open but with limited access. The back loop is closed. Fort Spokane boat launch and the campground road to the vault toilet will be plowed. Parking pads at campsites 1, 2, 3, and 4 will also be plowed. Water has been turned off, so campers are advised to provide their own potable water. A vault toilet on a limited cleaning schedule is available. Camping in this campground remains reservation only through Recreation.gov and no first come, first served.

Water has been turned off for the season and dump stations are closed. There are CXT toilets available for your use. Please plan accordingly.

Solo 4 day-er

Spent four days camping here for the first time even though I grew up in the area. Didn't bother with a tent since the weather was so nice and just slept in my hammock. The water was tricky to get to because the water level was so low. Site 51 on the back loop was perfect. Nice fire ring and picnic…

So much fun

We stayed here Labor Day Weekend and it’s a new favorite. Very family friendly. Lots of paved roads for bike riding. Easy beach access. Lots of shade. The best part was that there were almost no bugs at all.
