Great place

Great campground. It was very quiet. Sites had plenty of space between them. Great location. Even had WiFi. Not great WiFi but still. It was a nice place.

Second time was not the charm

I was so excited to visit the campground again, but when I showed up I heard the words “we have new ownership” uh oh… the park was still the same with amazing water access, great boat launch area and lots of cabins for those not wanting to commit to a full camper set up. The newest verbiage that…

Primitive camping, good overnight stop, nice views

I stayed here one night in July 2021. The sites are in groups of four with one gravel/dirt parking spot for each campsite. Behind the parking spots are picnic tables, a tent area and a fire ring for each site. Generally the area is weedy, grassy or dry dirt/sand. Most sites have lake view / access,…

Poor service/attitude

We were disappointed with the cramped sites, but at least noonr was butted up to the end of our trailer until our last night. They need into our trailer trying to park in the small site. When we asked the office why they assigned such a large rig there with so many other empty sites, we were told…

Busy on a weekend, but everything you need.

Stop through on our way from Glacier to North Cascades. This camp ground is really busy but all sites have full hookups. We have a 23' hybrid trailer and had plenty of room. Small pool for the kids open 11-8, beach. Mini golf for $5. 9 hole public course within walking distance. ($19 for 9, club…

Fun but crowded

Their campground has a lot to offer. With the good comes the bad. The camp spaces are packed together and the road I. And out is very narrow. All in all it is a nice day lace with lots of shade.

Be Warned

We went on the 4th of July weekend. The campground was crowded with families but also groups of adults. The families were great but the adult groups not so much. There is no host to monitor people so there were folks running their generators all night and others were up partying until 2 in the…

Dirt roads and no tp

The location is a long haul on a dirt road to the campground. Rig was covered in dust by arrival. First 10 minutes we found the worst part of this location. Right next to a very busy railroad and there is no railroad crossing and the trains blare the horn at least 6xs while passing… 2 to 3 times an…

Welcome to the Wild West - Beautiful but Busy

At first glance, Cow Lake is a beautiful and secluded oasis tucked away in the scablands of Eastern Washington.

However, the area is a very popular local fishing and recreation spot and gets crowded on the weekends.

Cow Lake is about 10 miles east of Ritzville and is a free, dispersed camping…

Very Nice

Clean, well-kept facilities. If you’re hooking up, you’ve got sewer right at the site! Hiking to the top of the plateau is worth it. Tons of little hidden spots along the water to find a place all your own.

Great Trip

This campground has it all for all types of camping. We stayed in a cabin while our friends stayed in an RV site. By far my favorite camping trip of the summer. Not only are the spaces fairly big for a private campground our spaces have full hooks up including sewer. Also the ability for a boat…

Great Location.

This was our first trip to Sunbanks. Our friends go every year but I never get the time off expect this year. It's a great location right on the lake. You can bring your boat and dock it on their floating docks. It's crowded on holidays so book earlier to get a great spot. The only two complaint I…

Friendly area

Very nice state park. Well managed. Clean. Fishing was fair for walleye, bass. Hiking was abundant. Easy in and out. Could use cable along with water, sewer, electric, hook ups.
