Right on the water

While we couldn’t stay overnight due to COVID, there was day access going on. We enjoyed how small this campground was though if super crowded that may have been a different experience entirely. Sites were snug into the trees but a stones throw away from gentle waves on a sandy beach. Water access and removed enough from residences that you do feel immersed

Haag Cove - Lake Roosevelt National Rec Area, WA

I have never been to Haag Cove @ Lake Roosevelt National Rec Area, WA, but I have been to WA. Any where that you go in WA is beautiful to me and some years ago I did do primitive camping in the Bellingham WA area and it was beyond beautiful to me. If I had another chance to go to the Northwest I would go in a heart beat.
