Deer Lake

Back country permit required. The lake is accessible by a couple of routes. There is a short but steep hike in from the Sol Duc area, so you could potentially do this as a day hike. I saw some families doing this. Or you can take the Mink Lake route - longer for sure but beautiful. Also it is a part of the Seven Lakes Basin Loop. The sites are around the lake. Mine was right by a river. There is a toilet available. My only complaint was that it was pretty buggy. I would definitely go back.
