Alpine View RV Park & Campground - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I did not love this campground. It is directly off of Highway 2, to the traffic noise is loud. Our particular campsite had a large, bright light that came on after dark and stayed on, making it difficult to sleep. A neighbor appeared to be set up for some time in their RV, with a fence for their dogs. However, kudos to the neighbor, they brought their dogs in at night. The good things about this campsite: it is really close to Leavenworth, they have a 2 night minimum but were able to book us in for one night last minute, it is directly across from Safeway so we were able to pick up some snacks for lounging around the campground before bed. They also have showers and the bathrooms I thought were quite nice.

Alpine View RV Park

While we had a great stay at Alpine View RV, we did find that this campground seemed to be bettter suited for RV customers than tent campers such as ourselves! There were many RVs fairly close together, which contributed to generator noise and lack of privacy. Also, the campsite was quite dusty (instead of dirt/grass, which we are more accustomed to). The restroom facilities were quite nice and the proximity to Leavenworth proper was unbeatable! Would we stay again? Maybe, but we are also open to exploring other camping options in the area.

Very clean, friendly,  and beautiful area. Like little Switzerland 🇨🇭

Great weekend get away 

Yea, it’s a bit close to HW2 but it’s such a short walk to main street Leavenworth, shops, &amp; coffee that it more than makes up for it. Great hosts, clean camp, and the locale make for a great spot.
