I stayed here in my hammock for a night while I was down in VA beach. Has some awesome trails of quite varying lengths (0.2-6.5 mi if I'm remembering properly) it will cost you to get on the property but the park pass for the day includes the beach across the highway as well. Both are dog friendly as long as your pup is on a leash
