Upstream from the Chesapeake Bay, Piankatank River is perfect for boating, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, crabbing, and fishing. Both saltwater and freshwater fishing are within a quarter mile boat ride from Chesapeake Bay RV Camping. Nearby are 3 "living history" towns of unparalleled historical significance. We call ourselves an "Old School Campground". No lights, no concrete, no store, no pool. We are directly on the Chesapeake Bay.  We have plenty of trees, a fresh water pond, small sandy beach, a large field to run your dogs and a fishing pier. The property is 26 acres, 8 of which is the campground. There is a bathhouse with 3 toilets and 2 showers for each of the men/women. Our facebook page is crossripcampground which has fun pictures of our campers. Each site has water and electric, no sewer. We do have a dump station at the bathhouse.
