Little River State Park campground

Very nice wooded sites with good space between sites. The bathhouse was average with hot showers ($0.50/5min). Sits on a reservoir with a nice swimming beach. Had several nice hikes right from the campground.

Great camping trip

What a wonderful place to feel like you are away from it all. Nice jeep trails and hiking all around. Silver lake is amazing.

Quiet remote and beautiful camping

We stared at Moosalamoo August 29 through September 2 2021 and had a wonderful stay.

The camp host Plylar greeted us as we arrived and gave us complete information about the sites, amenities, bears (not so much bears) and even which pit toilets were the least stinky.

The sites are well…

One of our favorites

We have now stayed twice at Ricker Pond and have loved it each time.  We chose a lean-to, which proved to be invaluable at our last stay, as we were hit with t-storms and torrential rains for a period.  The grounds and facilities are very well kept and maintained, and the staff is helpful and…

Peaceful but moist

Beautiful sites on the River but with the wet summer, we just couldn’t dry out. Make sure to lock you valuables. Our Jackery, Solar panels & toilet were stolen.

Very quiet

Only stayed one night. Very small, quiet place. Probably a great spot as a base camp for sightseeing. Tons of mosquitoes because of all the rain. Didn't use the facilities but they looked ok. Host was very nice. They have wifi but he forgot to tell us the password.

So much to do within the park!

My family loved this campground. There’s swimming, fishing, boating, hiking and great mountain biking within the park. Sites were big and private. Some right on the water. My kids met some friends and had fun on the playground area. We also did a lot of fishing and caught a variety of fish.

Incredible winter spot!

Stayed at a lean-to site here in March of 2019. Free of charge during off season, you just have to call a couple weeks ahead to reserve and make sure you park in the allotted area. Hike/snowshoe in to your site as the gate is closed and the area is not plowed. No facilities off season…Carry out all…

Great family friendly campground

We stayed last year during the fall and the views were breathtaking. Close to tons of beautiful hikes. As for the campground. It was quiet, comfortable, and kid, as well as pet friendly. Would definitely camp here again. The staff was friendly and the bathroom facilities were kept nice and clean.

My second time at this park. Nice layout. Can’t wait to try a lean to. Very quiet. Nice little swimming area except after a big storm. Easy access to boat launch.

Busy Hub. Great campground

Spent a great night here after hiking up from Lincoln Woods.

This is a busy hub on AT. When we arrived there were very few spots left. There are some overflow spots near the spring.

Large eating area. Great water source. Clean privy. Helpful staff. Approx 6 platform sites and shelter.

Great campground for a pre Pemi Loop night

Great campground. Stayed at site #32. This side was near the street but at night there is minimal traffic. Higher side is by the river so the preferable side to stay on.

There is an area for tents only where you park in a lot and walk to the site.

This campground is first come first serve.

Great for full timers.

Beautiful place really well maintained. Impressive so clean lots fun activities for children. But for us I couldn’t wait to leave. We are a quiet couple and this place is social And noisy non stop! Groups gather at various sites continuously. I think maybe because it’s a weekend IDK but I really…

Beautiful One Night Stay!

I was super lucky to snag a last-minute spot at this VT state park (my first one!).

There was even a fully built fire in the pit just ready to be lit when I arrived (I don't think this is normal!).

The sunset was gorgeous and it cleared up for a beautiful morning paddle around the pond.

Quiet Spot

We arrived on a Tuesday with no reservations. We had our pick of sites and no issues staying for 2 days. There were several sites reserved starting Thursday and Friday so the weekend looked to be busier. We only had one other camper on our loop the first night and no one the second. Sites were…
