Lake Lauderdale Campground

Greendale campground is a small remote campground located along Greendale Brook in Weston, VT. There are 11 campsites available in a wooded campground setting. Each site has a picnic table, a fire ring with a grill, and a parking spur. Most sites can accommodate small to medium campers as well as tents. There is also a barrier-free vault toilet. The campground offers easy access to the Greendale Loop, a 4.0 mile hike through a mixed forest of northern hardwood and conifer trees with long stretches bordering scenic streams. ## Overview

Stoughton Pond Recreation Area is a day use area located to the north of North Springfield Lake. Stoughton Pond is located off State Route 106 on Stoughton Pond Road in Perkinsville, Vermont. 

#### Natural Features:

Stoughton Pond is situated among rolling hills on the North Branch of the Black River. Open lawns cover the park, with hardwood and softwood trees offering areas of shade and wildlife habitat. 

#### Recreation:

Stoughton Pond Recreation Area offers plenty of activities for visitors of all ages. Many people enjoy canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. The state of Vermont Department of Fish and Game annually stock the pond with rainbow trout, and the pond also offers excellent bass fishing. A boat ramp is available, located off Plains Road.   
  
An interpretive trail winds along the side of the pond. Hikers are treated to views of wetlands and uplands, both with a wide diversity of natural habitats. A multi-use trail system is located at the main reservoir, North Springfield Lake. 

#### Facilities:

Stoughton Pond Recreation Area offers a group picnic shelter with tables and a large grill. Ten family picnic sites are also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Flush toilets, change house and drinking water are available on site.   
  
Amenities at this family-friendly park include a swimming area with a great beach, grassy areas for sun bathing and a boat ramp for small boats, canoes and kayaks.   
  
The park is staffed by uniformed park rangers who offer special programs on a variety of nature topics throughout the season.

D Acres is an educational homestead and organic permaculture farm nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We offer a variety of lodging options including field & platform tent camping, vehicle spots, treehouses, schoolbuses, tiny house, red house and yoga room.

During your stay, we encourage you to explore the property. There are miles of machine built mountain biking and cross country skiing trails on the property. Our property abuts the vast GreenWoodlands Trail network. Visitors have access to farm store, kitchen, ponds, streams, showers, communal firepit & outdoor cooking areas. Farm animals, orchards and gardens create a unique experience.

We prefer that 1st time visitors arrive before 8pm.

No sewer hookups. Secluded spots for vehicles require high clearance and dry conditions.

Check in is between 2 and 8:00 p.m. Check in at the main house #218 streeter rd - if you arrive after 8:00 please advise in advance so we can make arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but highly discourage late night arrivals at our remote location.

Camping On The Battenkill is a quiet nature orientated campground on 35acres of land that offers large spacious private sites in 30 Acres of forest, 2 rivers and a large open field area for group bookings. The beauty of The Battenkill and Roaring Branch rivers can be experienced throughout the varied terrain of the campground. We have RV Sites and Raw Camping sites that are situated on the Battenkill River the other sites are located in the forest or open field. Life does not get better than this! A natural swimming hole with a sandy beach lies in the midst of the campground with all campers having access to it for long cool summer’s day experiences. Campers also enjoy tubing and canoeing on the river as well as basking in the sun, or taking their pets for long cool walks through the forest. The Battenkill is noted as an exceptional trout stream for fishing and we even offer guided fishing tours right from the campground. On rainy days campers can enjoy the games room or take a covered bridge tour nearby the campground. We offer a mobile honey wagon service for campers who require longer stays. The campground is well known for creating memories and experiences that last a lifetime so book your stay now and start making memories.
