For your comfort, each site has full hook-ups, a shade tree, fire ring (with the exception of 4 sites), picnic table, free Wi-Fi, and cable television. Pull thru sites are 60-70 feet long with a concrete pad and a grassy area perfect for relaxing on your lounge chair. Riverside Back-In sites average 40-50 feet deep, have gravel, and the Virgin River flowing behind them. There is a berm running along the river’s edge for the protection of our young guests; however, you can hear the river running all year. Standard Back-In sites range from 30-40 feet deep, have 30 amp electric, and are available with either a concrete pad & grass or gravel only. These sites are perfect for smaller RVs. Please help us maintain our desert grass by not putting down mats, rugs, or carpets. We will be happy to help you choose just the right site for your preferences and needs.

Tent sites are located beside the Virgin River, have small pea gravel, a fire ring, picnic table, and electrical outlet. Potable water is located at either end of the tenting area. The camper kitchen is available for cooking and washing dishes. The restrooms, showers, and laundry are close to the tent area. All resort facilities are included.

Zion River Resort

We went here to escape the Las Vegas heat, 10 degrees makes a huge difference.

Things we loved:

*   The Internet was sufficient to work, but not great.  No streaming but they did have cable.
*   Extremely clean
*   Staff was 5 Star, helpful, kind and accommodating.
*   The pool was fun and clean.
*   Very quiet and everyone was very friendly.
*   Dog area was well kept

Not so much:

*   No mention of algae on the website, so no river fishing or letting the kids play in the water.  Disappointing.
*   Playground was closed
*   Many things to do nearby in Zion.

No Streaming, but you can get work done

This RV resort is breathtaking!! You get a taste of Zion the moment you arrive, and stay in awe of nature's beauty your entire stay.  Even though this in close proximity to a number of parks, we had been to the parks already and just needed a weekend getaway, so we just stayed at the resort!  The spaces are gravel and maintained well.  They do have fire pits, which we enjoyed using every evening.  The resort also has a big, beautiful pool and hot tub, a general store, and nice facilities.  Besides the scenery that surrounded us, the best part of staying here was the hiking available.  There is a nearby river, and we took the dogs down to explore with us a few times during our stay.  Apparently they have a schedule of activities available, but we didn't do any of those.  An absolute must if you are traveling via RV through this region!

Absolutely gorgeous and close to parks!

This resort is very nice. Pricey, but it offers a lot. It is about 13 miles outside of Zion but they take reservations, other campgrounds nearby did not. The tent sites are right along the river which was wonderful. There is extra parking if you need it right by your tent site. You can play horseshoes, go swimming int he heated pool and use the hot tub. They encourage camp fires and have a gift shop. The showers run for 7 minutes, then you have to wait 5 minutes and then you can run them again, no coins needed. There are picnic benches at the campsites. Really enjoyed this campground.

We stayed in one of the few tent sites there for three nights. The sites are very well kept and good size. You're right next to the river, and you have power and a table provided. The individual bathrooms were super nice, with timed showers. They do fun social events in the evening as well, and the gift shop is great.

Very nice, a bit of glamping

Look, it's a very packed campground, but man is it nice. They have invested a lot of money to make sure you enjoy your stay while you explore Southern Utah

Extremely nice

This campground was spectacular. I highly
recommend staying here. the staff was great, everything was very clean. On weekends they have a grill and serve dinner. Their pool &amp; hot tub area is clean and very nice. despite being in the desert, there’s grass and it’s a very pretty campground.

We camped in one of the cabins for the first night because there was no availability for the campground sites. It was entirely worth the money! The back bunk beds were super cozy &amp; we enjoyed a bed after being in a tent for the precious week. 
The campground site the next night was wonderful as far as campgrounds go. The ground was level &amp; covered with fine gravel. The sites are not very big &amp; you’re right up next to other campers; but it’s all you need when you spend the majority of the day out in Zion &amp; just come back to eat dinner &amp; sleep. The electricity was nice to have for charging laptops to import/edit photos of the day’s adventures. The showers were a real treat because they were included with the campground. The bathrooms were in the same room as the showers &amp; there were only two rooms, so if two people were showering, you’d be out of luck for using the restroom anytime soon. Other than that, everything was a such a positive experience. There was free coffee in the main building &amp; also a little shop for anything you may have forgotten—the nearest store is about 20 minutes away. All in all, this place is amazing &amp; I would highly recommend. 

Wonderful Camping Experience!

Great for the kids!  Heated pool and adult only hot tub. Planned kid events and close to local attractions. Excellent Rzr trails near the camp. Paved for bile riding 

Every year stop!

This camp site was awesome! Had plenty of openings, reasonable price and full hookup! At the site we were on there was a creek behind us which we loved and so did our dogs! Friendly neighbors! Beautiful place. Located close to Zion park. A lot of off road adventures near by 

Wonderful site

After primitive camping for 3 days up above on Smith Mesa, we opted for this full service jewel to reinvigorate ourselves.
This park has a pool, hottub, very clean showers and restrooms, a laundromat, a store and a onsite restaurant.
First impression is how much work they put into the site, groundskeeping is constant and it shows. It is immaculately clean and although on the pricier side of campgrounds it is  luxury, and a welcome change from "roughing" it.
The tent sites closer to the road can be noisy from the traffic, but that is about it for cons.
Treat yourself to a hot shower, a hottub and a hot meal.


Beautiful and Accommodating camp spot 

The place was open  and fun during covid-19, which was awesome. I wish the WiFi was stronger for our son. I know, I know, it’s the Greta outdoors and all, but honestly, it’s just nice when things work well and all that Jazz. 

Great place though. I highly recommend it.

We had a great time

Stayed for 4 nights. The park is 10minutes away from Zion National Park and about 2hrs from Bryce Canyon. The park is adjacent to the Virgin River. Walking path to the river is great for kids. Verizon signal is poor but TMobile gets 4 bars. This park is the best alternative when campgrounds inside Zion are booked. The park store is relatively full of pertinent supplies and gift items. They even have a “mining” activity for the kiddos. Would def stay here again when we visit the area next. 

Awesome Base Camp

We stayed in on of the cabins it was great.  Clean bathrooms and shower.  Good WiFi.  They opened up the community room after hours so we could watch the Dodgers.

Nice

We stayed here for 4 nights in October 2020 while tent camping.  We selected this location because we were working from the road while also exploring National Parks and this met our criteria.

  

Pros:

\-Less than a 30 minute drive to Zion National Park from here

\-Great WiFi from the campground and cell service (T-Mobile)- totally possible to work remotely from here

\-Nice amenities including a "social hall"- basically a large living room with some couches and tables.  We worked from here and felt safe even during COVID because there was literally never anyone else in here.  

\-Pool if you're interested in that.  We didn't use it, but it wasn't that crowded.

\-Store is very well stocked.  Basically a small grocery story and gifty type items.  Prices are not that ridiculous.

\-Picnic pavilion/camp kitchen with dishwashing sinks and covered picnic tables

\-Bathrooms were updated and had hot showers (though showers have a 7 minute limit)

\-Staff was friendly and helpful

\-Bathhouse also has laundry (coin operated)

  

Cons:

\-The 4 tent sites are right next to each other basically in a gravel parking lot.  This place is really an nice RV park that then seemed to add in the tent area.  If you don't want to be right next to your neighbors, you will not like this.  That being said, we felt like we were able to be far enough away during COVID.

\-There is no shade at the tent sites.  The RV sites each seemed to have a tree, but none in the tent area.  It would be pretty miserable to site out here during the day.  We used the picnic pavilion and the social hall, so were ok.

\-Less COVID precautions than I've seen at other campground- e.g. the only sanitizer was outside the store/office- none in the bathhouse, laundry areas, social hall, etc.- high touch places.  They did have bottles of cleaning spray out, but no place had paper towels, so that felt pointless honestly.

  

Overall, if you're looking for amenities, including WiFi, are RV camping, want a good location to Zion, this is a great place and I recommend it.  If you're looking for a really great tent site, you won't find it here.

Nice RV park, not ideal for tents

First of all, you CAN find RV Parks in Springdale that are closer to the main south entrance to Zion(which is THE Main Entrance). But we had a toad(our little Honda Fit) and we preferred just driving the 16 miles or so from Virgin to the park and being able to camp in one of the nicest parks you'll find. We had read that Zion River Resort was a great place to stay. And it truly is. I have only one significant complaint. But first, the good:

  

1) The lots are huge. Very wide and with lovely grass and gravel. Everyone gets a grassy area. The concrete pad is very level.

  

2) The hookups are great. I get so frustrated when parks put the water hookup really low to the ground and you can barely get your hose hooked up. No such issue here. Electric is great, as was sewer. Just want you want.

  

3) The clubhouse/ gift shop is nice. Basic stuff, but also some nice gift items. And beer!(In Utah!!) Everyone was friendly.

  

4) When you first pull in there are several clearly marked, LARGE lots for"check in". Although with COVID, there was no check in process, we used this spot to unhitch our toad so that we could get to our spot more easily.

  

5) Being near the Virgin River is great. What a peaceful place to visit.

  

And the one downside. There is virtually no cell signal in Virgin. Certainly not enough to even begin to create a hot spot. There is wifi(and we even had a booster on our site)...but there was still terribly connectivity. We could, in the early morning, check our email and such. In the evening, forget it. No streaming, no surfing. Being out of touch with the world is fine, but it's still nice to be able to do some last minute park research, touch base with the kids and post some photos on Facebook. Most of that was impossible during the 3 nights we spent here. We've stayed at many humbler parks and had no issue with connecting and streaming. Not sure what Zion River Resort could do to improve things, but they should do it. Probably need more than one source of wifi. HOWEVER, this was a friendly, peaceful, lovely place. We'd stay again without hesitation.

Top-notch overall (wi-fi & connectivity excluded)

This RV resort is very clean and well maintained. We stayed here for two nights in October 2020 and we were very happy with our stay. It is close to Zion National Park and not too far from "civilization" if you need to pick up supplies that aren't offered onsite. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others. One important thing to note: if your GPS tells you to take Sheep Bridge Road to get to Zion River Resort, DO NOT TAKE SHEEP BRIDGE ROAD. Sheep Bridge Road is a poorly maintained dirt road with washboard sections, tight turns, inclines, and other obstacles that make it very difficult to navigate if you're pulling a travel trailer. It was a learning experience, to say the least.

Very Clean Resort Close to Zion National Park

The park itself is nice. Full hook ups, heated pool and hot tub. Restrooms and laundry on site. Propane also on site.  There are also a series of fenced in dog parks (3). So if you have dogs that don’t get along with other dogs that’s a plus because you can just go in a different one. The wifi is kind of hit or miss sometimes though. When the park is full at peak times good luck streaming anything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t spring for the back in river spots unless you just want privacy behind you. The view for us isn’t that great as there is a rock wall behind you so your view is actually of that unless you have a very big rig. It is very close to Springdale and Zion National Park which is very convenient and why we chose it so four stars. 

Nice RV Park, wifi is slow though

We had just bought our first pop up camper and decided to take a quick trip. I’m glad we did it here. the staff was helpful and very polite made our stay easy and the campground was clean. 

Our first trip!

A prime location for travelers visiting Zion National Park for any period of time. We stayed for four nights, while many others in the resort seemed to be snow birds visiting for months at a time. There are great restaurants, coffee shops and outdoors stores only 10 minutes away, near the entrance to the National Park. A great location. The restrooms and showers were conveniently located and were well kept, along with the laundry room and pool area. 

Our only complaint would be the WIFI connection. We were parked right outside the “media room” and still received poor to almost no service. We would receive a text here and there, but nothing else. When we asked the front desk about it they suggested we use the media room, but it ended up having the same level of poor service. 

Zion River Resort, Utah

We had a great time at this RV park. The quiet time didn't start at 10 but that is ok with us. They have concrete sites with full hookups. They were very level by the way. Many things to do, Cornhole, volleyball, a pool, hot tub, ice cream, playground, basketball &amp; a river.

Great location!

Clean and quiet campsite about 20 minutes from Zion park. Decent size sites with gravel or concrete pads. Some with grass. Trees dot the camp giving some nice shade. Views of some nice cliffs from inside. We stayed on the river, and although there is a berm between the campers and river, there is a path to get there. You get about 30’ between campers. Service pedestals are at the head of the site, so you’ll probably need 20’ of hose. Nice store, pool and spa, plus gold panning slough. Campfire ring with adjustable grates. All in all, a great stay!

Great spot close to Zion national park

We stayed a week. They are very good to insure rules are followed.  They are constantly cleaning the grounds (love it). Staff is friendly.

Sites - we had a pull thru. Perfect! Concrete parking with grass &amp; rock pebbles on the side. Back in spots are available.  Lots is tall trees to provide shade.  Virgin river surrounding the resort. 

Amenities- warm &amp; clean pool. Jacuzzi. The store is nifty and open until 8.  We have run over to ice cream desserts ☺️.  Laundry rooms are ready on site.

Around the place - they gave us a few places to go when we arrived. We have been to both Ghost towns (excellent stops) &amp; plan on a few more they told us about.  So close to Zion &amp; they will even drip you off at the base camp.

In my view, the best RV park in the Zion Corridor near Virgin Utah.

This has been a phenomenal stay. Love the staff, the grounds, amenities, and close to so many national parks. Lucked out getting a spot here. Fabulous! 

Best RV park stay

The resort was organized and well kept. Staff was accommodating, friendly and very informative regarding Zion national Park. Store was well stocked and laundry facility worked great. Sites were short, tight and a bit difficult to back in to. Little room for anything other than truck and trailer

Great park

Check in was fast and smooth. Got the key and remote for the tv then head to the cabin that was around the way from the office/pool area. Sheets was provided for the queen bed but not the bunk beds. Which was fine because we were ready with our own sheets. Rest room and shower was right in front of our cabin, so we didn’t have to walk far. Good ac unit and lighting the with number of windows they got. Overall a great experience from our 1 night stay. 

Cabin review

This place is really nice--like maybe too nice for me. Haha. Loop road is paved with those low curbs on the side. Street lights at night are helpful. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Site was great. Short drive to the gate into Zion NP. Great spot. Nicest we had on our trip.

Loved this campground. My only complaint is that the spots are tight. If you have a bigger rv I would definitely go with the pull through sites.
