I was in Zion in mid April at Warchman CG loop D site 35 for 2 nights. The weather was great and there was enough tree cover for shade. The CG is close to the main entrance in Springdale. An easy walk for firewood and a trip to the brewery into town, or very short for water. It is also an easy walk to the visitor center to catch a shuttle bus. This in my opinion is the best campground in Zion to make things easy after a day of hiking.
