    Granite Flat Campground is located a short distance up scenic American Fork Canyon, less than a mile from Tibble Fork Reservoir. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing and exploring local trails.

    Recreation

    Nearby Tibble Fork and Silver Flat Reservoirs offer canoeing, kayaking and fishing for rainbow, brook and brown trout. A portion of the north shore at Tibble Fork is accessible. Both reservoirs are open only to non-motorized watercraft. Scuba divers frequent Tibble Fork's south shore. Hiking and mountain biking trails abound, some beginning at the reservoir and others nearby. The 6-mile Tibble Fork Trail, 2-mile Pine Hollow Trail, 3-mile Mill Canyon Trail and the 15-mile Ridge Trail are all in the vicinity.

    This large campground offers three group sites and several single and double-family sites, most of which are accessible. Picnic tables and campfire rings are provided, as are vault toilets. Horseshoe pits and a grassy baseball field are located on-site. Roads and parking spurs are paved.____

    The campground is situated among dense stands of aspen, Douglas fir, spruce and pine trees at an elevation of 6,400 feet. Rugged Wasatch peaks surround the area. Wildlife and summer wildflowers are abundant.

    Timpanogos Cave National Monument is just a few miles down American Fork Canyon, with a rewarding but steep 1.5-mile hike to a guided tour of the spectacular three-room cave system. The trail offers beautiful views of American Fork Canyon. American Fork Creek can be accessed 3 miles south. A favorite among fly-fisherman, the creek has light pressure for stocked rainbow trout. The 20-mile paved Alpine Loop Scenic Byway passes just a few miles from the campground, traveling through alpine canyons, mountain meadows, aspen groves and pine forests, with breathtaking views of the Wasatch Range. This road is not recommended for vehicles over 30 feet in length. Timpanogos and Lone Peak Wilderness Areas are nearby, offering a myriad of additional hiking and biking opportunities.

    Hiking and mountain biking are popular activities on canyon trails, including the Donut Falls Trail, which begins in the nearby Jordan Pines Campground. Fly-fishermen enjoy casting on Big Cottonwood Creek.

    This large campground contains several group overnight campsites and day-use picnic sites, as well as numerous single and double-family campsites. All sites have picnic tables, campfire rings and grills.Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. A baseball field, volleyball court and horseshoe pits are located within the campground. Rock climbing is a popular activity as well. Solitude Mountain Resort is 3 miles up-canyon, offering scenic chairlift rides, hiking, a few dining options and a challenging 18-hole disc golf course. Silver Lake is another mile past Solitude. Fishing and canoeing are popular activities. An easy trail loops around the small lake.

    RV Campground: Hailstone offers 103 RV campsites equipped with partial hookups (power & water), fire pits with BBQ grills, and picnic tables. All restrooms have hot showers and flush toilets. Murdock Camp Services also has a laundry facility. A dump station is located on the west side of the campground. A playground is located in the Lower Fisher loop by Murdock Camp Services. All of our sites come with amazing views of the reservoir and sell out fast so plan ahead! Check out is 12 PM and Check in is at 3 PM. Guests who arrive early will not be allowed entry into the park until Check in.

    Tanners Flat Campground is located in scenic Little Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 7,200 feet, just 6 miles from Sandy, Utah. The canyon offers many hiking and biking opportunities.

    Recreation

    Hiking and mountain biking trailheads can be found throughout the canyon. Hikers enjoy Red Pine Lake, White Pine Lake and Maybird Gulch, all beautiful hikes leading to alpine lakes. Mountain bikers enjoy the Cottonwood Creek Trail and Albion Meadows Trail. Little Cottonwood Creek offers good trout fishing and is a favorite among local fly-fishermen.

    Facilities

    The campground contains 31 single sites, three double sites, four overnight group sites and an amphitheater. The family and overnight group sites have picnic tables and campfire rings. The group overnight sites also have grills and serving tables. The amphitheater has benches and a presentation area, but does not have tables or a fire ring. The amphitheater is available in four hour blocks (8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm, 6pm-10pm).Flush and vault toilets are provided, as is drinking water. A volleyball court is available but campers must bring their own net and ball. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. Roads and parking spurs are paved.__

    Willow Park camping is a dry campsite.

    Willow Park Campground is nestled between the Jordan River and the Jordan River Trail. It features both individual overnight camping spots and group sites that can accommodate large groups.

    Every site has a picnic table and fire pit. You can also reserve the pavilions at Willow Park. Willow Park features sand volleyball, playgrounds, access to the Jordan River Trail, a boat launch site for the Jordan River, and a dog park. Please be advised there are NO RV hookups or showers at Willow Park Campground.
