Rare gem

We only have one night here but what an amazing day. Huge assist to the perfect weather and lack of wildfire smoke, but the landscape of granite towers and ridges is a a nearly endless playground for all abled bodies to climb and explore. My kid brought her Bam Bam Flintstone and fit right in. Each…

Great view and quiet

We had a quiet campground nestled in the trees. Just a short walk away brings you to incredible views and cool rock formations. There is an outhouse but no running water and it’s a trash in/trash out campsite. We loved our stay and got great pictures.

Hidden gem

We found this site on the Dyrt in looking for a stopover between Park city Utah and Boise Idaho. Wow, Bennet Springs is a hidden gem! We took the site at the eastern end and felt like we had the place to ourselves. Nice trail along the creek and wildflowers everywhere. The road is visible from…

Serene and peaceful

This is my favorite place on the planet. The camp facilities are fairly primitive but there are pit/vault toilets available. I can not express how gorgeous the landscape is or how bright the stars are at night. Our campspot was #22. Not a ton of shade, but excellent views. You have to have cash…

Great setting, quiet location

We stayed here on our way to the Grand Tetons. This campground is a bit. Off the beaten path, the setting is worth it. Spacious camp sites, beautiful lake side setting.

Private with views of the mountains

Caution: Save yourself some time, dust and frustration and enter Smoky Mountain Campground into your GPS and not Castle Rock State Park like we did. Haha.

We were so surprised when we got to this campground. Private sites. Clean. Paved, not gravel. Not the most level we've been in but totally…

Cute lake spot

Super sweet camp manager. Spots are close but it wasn’t crowded when we went. Cute lake!

Open, quiet space in forest

Really long gravel from highway to site. So far off the highway that it is complete quiet and serenity. Had firewood there and a fire ring to build a fire. Also a picnic table. Beautiful views.

Great fishing spot

If you like to fish then Oakley Reservoir is a worth the trip. The campgrounds are right on the reservoir and open and spacious. It’s a great spot to fish all day, light a campfire and gaze under the stars.

Scenery, not crowded, and near-ish to Twin Falls for $5

cash or check only Great location! Huge grass areas prevent any crowding and all but a couple RV spots are facing the lake. Fun to watch jet skiers, etc. go by. Slight cow smell a couple times but barely noticeable. Vault toilets are spotless. Generators only allowed for emergencies so not sure…

Not for RV's but a great spot and a beautiful hike

We stopped at this campground hoping it was Trailer Friendly. We were able to get up to the parking lot but I wouldn't recommend it. If my trailer was not lifted we would have had issues. It was dark by the time we reached the parking lot to the campground so we decided to stay there for the night…

Each site is very different...

Be careful which site you book. Many are walk in tent sites or don’t have room for even a sprinter van. We had site number 29 which was beautiful. Definitely recommend staying in the 1-30 sites. Many back up to rocks but all are very different.
