Beautiful park

Echo Canyon State park is the perfect camp ground for a relaxing getaway. The reservoir is great for fishing, paddle boarding or just relaxing. There are atv trails everywhere. We took our side by side up to Eagle Valley and found a great hole in the wall general store with a bar. Met some great…

4 stars campsites 1 star lake...

Was excited to finally make it to this lake. First, the camping sites are spaced out and each has a water access point. Plenty of shade on almost all sites. Staying near the top will give you easy access to the trails. Secondly, the sad sad sad lake....the water was sooooooo low, muddy all around…

Great Spot!

Camping areas are spacious and spread out from other campers. The reservoir is nice. No fee, but not all spots that look like campsites are allowed for overnight camping.

Ok, I gave this campsite 4 stars only because it's worth another 20 minutes to get up to the horse thief gulch campground…

partial hookups and hot showers

ADA accessible

no one was on the water but I did…

Love this place!

Can’t wait to go back... literally the best place I have ever been. Such a good little vacation spot. What’s better than fishing and riding your kayaks? Nothing for me. The spots are perfectly sized with plenty of places to spread out and enjoy. You are not on top of anyone. We have a state park…

Agreed - A Hidden Gem

Visited on October 10th. This was a quick one night in-and-out for us but very enjoyable. The water at the lake was low and no fires due to the lack of rain in months. There were a lot of families fishing. We are more into hiking but this spot made me think about getting into fishing as well. The…

Close to Cathedral Gorge; Excellent value for RVers

There are TWO CAMPGROUNDS in Echo Canyon State Park. There is the upper campground with FULL hookups for RVs and there is the lower campground meant more for tent camping. They appear about the same elevation, perhaps upper is higher. The lower campground is across Echo Dam Road from the boat…

Hidden Gem

We spent three days/two nights. We got to campground around 10am. Their was a few people already setup. They have hookups for RVs and campers. A few spots for handicap accessible. They remolded the first bathroom. Two showers and four bathrooms. Shower is fancy, it has a rain shower faucet.…

Lakeside Dispersed Camping

We have camped here several times in our trailer over the past few months. Lakeside dispersed camping is competitive, so get there early on a Friday if you plan to be there over a weekend. There are also designated campsites with tables, but they are quite a bit farther from the lake. Lakeside…

Big Sites, quiet

Showers were not working when we visited and we missed having a BBQ pit but otherwise great trip. Kids enjoyed fishing. Views were great. Weather was awesome.

Nice weekend getaway

We had site #6 - campground was not crowded, lots of empty spots. Easy walk to the reservoir. Large area for a tent, a centrally located fire ring and bbq. Each site had a nice covered table. We did have to kill a couple black widows that had setup shop under the table. And day 2 we fought some…

Great weekend fishing trip

If you need to throw up a tent and wake up before dawn to go fishing this is the place. Enjoy some of the darkest and clearest night sky. Enjoy being along the shore with a fishing pole and pulling in some trout. And no need to build a latrine, there is a fully functioning bathroom at the camp…

So beautiful!

Very nice campground with covered tables, water, fire pits and fire rings. Clean bathrooms, and a book exchange. All the spots are level, so easy for tent camping. Rangers cruise the park, and are super nice. Great fishing and a hike that takes you into a canyon. We will be back for sure!

Must check this out for fall camping

As with many of the other NV state parks, this campground offers covered picnic tables, flushable toilets and free showers. There are fire rings and grills for cooking at each site. The sites are good size for tent camping and most have tent pads that are level. The abundance of trees gives each…
