We did not read up on Capitol Reef before heading there and we were greatly surprised! Especially when the mule deer strolled through camp! Nice tent spaces, wonderful orchards offer "you pick" at great prices. You can't beat the homemade pies either! this place is a hidden treasure! Was not very crowded in September and we met some wonderful folks. Facilities were kept up real well!
